Tonduff Cottage is situated on the Causeway Road, a loop off the Whitepark Bay Road on which lies the Giants Causeway, Dunsererick Castle, Dunsererick Harbour and the Causeway Cliff path (part of the Ulster Way).

The area is designated 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' and overlooks Rathlin Island and Knocklayde Mountain.

The setting is one of peace and seclusion. The garden and patio to the rear is private and captures the sun from midday til sunset. Adjoining the cottage and owned by is 2 acres of woodland pasture.
